Andhra Pradesh government aims to draw over ₹20,000 crore in investments for titanium sponge,titanium metal,rare earth mineral processing. Minister Kollu Ravindra announced this Thursday at Secretariat. He emphasized transparent policies attracting big players like JSW Steel,Vedanta,Hindustan Zinc.
Ravindra pointed to Andhra Pradesh's potential. Second-largest beach sand mineral deposits in India after Tamil Nadu. Minerals like ilmenite,rutile,zircon,garnet,titanium — valuable on global market. The goal? Turn these resources into wealth and jobs .

Auction process for mineral blocks sped up per Mines & Minerals Development and Regulation Act. So far,21 blocks auctioned,resulting in 11 mining leases,10 composite licenses.
And government rolled out free sand policy . Supplied over 19 million metric tonnes of sand,established 412 sand reaches,238 stockyards across state. To tackle illegal mining,demand notices over ₹3,500 crore issued .
