Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) stepped up its urban sanitation game with a donation from SBI Foundation . They handed over a sweeping machine and 100 dustbins Monday. A move aimed at boosting road cleaning and waste management citywide,said the foundation.
At handover ceremony,Sheikh Tanveer Asif,MCC Commissioner,took delivery of vehicle and gear from SBI Foundation reps. Swapan Dhar, Managing Director and CEO,attended alongside other officials. Their presence showed foundation's support for Mysuru's cleanliness drive .
This donation expected to help MCC keep public areas clean. Urban areas need this badly . Foundation hopes this move will make city's sanitation system more efficient.
Foundation officials included Ritesh Sain,Program Head of CONSERW and ACE, and Aditya Vikram Gupta,Assistant Manager of CONSERW. They were joined by Mruthyunjaya K.S, Executive Engineer (Environment), and Environmental Engineers Mythri and Jyothi, plus Health Inspectors. All played a role in making event success.
