Tamil Nadu government just launched new online registration system. Residents can now register certain documents anytime,anywhere. Registration no longer tied to sub-registrar offices.

With this system, users register documents like first sales of plots,flats,sale deeds with Tamil Nadu Housing Board,and mortgage,discharge deeds for bank loans. Once submitted, a sub-registrar reviews. When approved,users download digitally signed documents. Document sent too.

To use service, individuals,construction firms,document writers,banks,legal advocates must create logins on Registration Department's site . Upload Aadhaar cards for all involved—executants,claimants,witnesses. Verification by fingerprint or iris scan through UIDAI required.
