Telangana's School Education Department aims to address staffing shortages by filling 202 vacancies in teacher training institutions. After long vacancies hit students hard,officials announced Sunday,June 28,2026, in-service personnel will be temporarily deployed under foreign service terms.

Openings include 131 lecturer positions in District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET),36 in College of Teacher Education (CTE),17 in Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE),and 18 in State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). Gazetted headmasters,school assistants from government and local body schools can apply.

Selection process promises to be fair: computer-based test,interviews,demos. Expected to wrap up by August 10 . Final deputation orders will follow.
