A local Self Help Group member,Bandi Manemma,got an invite to speak at South Asia Grassroots Assembly 2026 in Kathmandu,Nepal,set for June 12-13. Manemma,from Kazipet,runs a septic tank cleaning unit. Her work in community sanitation earned her this recognition.
Monday,Chahat Bajpai,District Collector of Hanumakonda, honored Manemma at a ceremony at the Collectorate. Present were Dr. Raja Reddy,Chief Medical and Health Officer of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation,and Mandala Parashuramulu,Convener of FANSA Telangana State chapter. Bajpai praised her work,urging her to share insights on septic tank desludging at assembly.
