‘Indiramma Indlu’ housing initiative will push on until every eligible poor person in state gets a home, says Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy,Minister for Revenue and Housing. He stressed Congress government's dedication to advancing this flagship program, aiming to fulfill housing dreams of impoverished families .
At housewarming events in Rajupeta and Gattusingaram villages, Kusumanchi mandal of Khammam district on Monday,Reddy announced second phase of scheme launch. This phase will add 2,000 homes for eligible beneficiaries in each Assembly constituency. “Indiramma houses are being sanctioned above politics,” he said, highlighting initiative's focus on delivering housing to those in need.
Reddy assured that construction of these homes is under constant watch, with timely bill releases to beneficiaries. He also inaugurated Electricity Revenue Office in Kusumanchi and engaged in several activities, including a ‘Praja Darbar’ as part of “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika” public outreach program in Yedulapuram,Khammam rural mandal.
Minister's remarks point to a larger commitment to social welfare, aiming to ensure no eligible poor person is left without housing. This phased approach of Indiramma Indlu scheme is designed to systematically tackle housing needs of state's underprivileged population…but will it meet its goals?
